Our line of Checks and Plaid Cashmere shawl in Diamond or Twill weave is one of a kind. The Pure Cashmere shawls are in two-Ply thick and are lightweight, wispy yet wondrously soft and warm. As done traditionally hundreds of years ago, even today our Cashmere shawls are hand spun on hand looms by expert craftsmen using the same traditional technique. Only the best craftsmen have the skill and the patience to painstakingly weave the delicate cashmere hairs into a superfine garment. It is the refined workmanship and the use of this fabulous cashmere yarn that produces such wispy, smooth and impeccably soft cashmere shawl
Our cashmere shawl collections are ultra light which gives the garment an almost gauzy appearance. As you run your fingers against the fabric you will note that you can almost see through the wool material. Only our master craftsmen have the expertise to deftly create such a polished product! However, incredibly beautiful this cashmere wool fabric is, yet it is not limited to its look and feel. Even though, the cashmere warp is slight on your hand, yet it is equally warm to the products that weigh double and triple its thickness!
Hand-woven in India, this Cashmere yarn is incredibly soft and extremely warm. Some prefer hand washing these shawls, but we recommend Dry Cleaning. Delicately woven from the finest Pure Cashmere two 2-Ply yarns, these hand Printed wraps are delicately soft, yet wondrously warm. Since it is comprised of only pure Cashmere yarn, therefore these shawls are slightly lighter in weight than the Pashmina and Silk blends, yet they are extremely warm. These wraps are hand-loomed in the “Twill Weave” and the rarest “Diamond Weave” by skilled artisans in India and the shawls are hand printed by hand blocks, as done traditionally hundreds of years ago by master craftsmen.
